area of cube = 6a²
length of one side = 6× (15)²
= 1350 cm²
now consider the corss section ,
it is a rectangluar block ,
it has 4×4 as 2 faces
15×4 as 4 faces
area of cross section = [ 2×(4×4)]+[4×(15×4)]
= 32 + 240
= 272cm²
remaining area = 1350 - 272
= 1078cm²
