A movie theatre sold the student ticket for Rs 3.25 and full price tickets for Rs 5.on Saturday, the theatre sold 16 more full price tickets than student tickets .if the total sales on Saturday were Rs 740,how many tickets of each kind were sold.

full price = 5 rs

total sale = 740

full price ticket sold 16 more than student

16*5 = 80

740-80= 660

now equal no. of tickets sold both students and full price

3.25*x + 5x = 660

(3.25+5)*x = 660

8.25*x = 660

x=80
