Given :

Kinetic Energy of the body is twice its momentum

To Find :

The speed of the body

Solution :

Given, Kinetic energy of the body is twice its momentum.

Let 'm' be the mass of the body  and 'v' be the velocity of the body.

The formula for momentum is [mass (m) × velocity (v)]

The formula kinetic energy is  \frac{1}{2} mv^2

As per question,

           Kinetic Energy = 2 × momentum

⇒            \frac{1}{2} mv^2              = 2 × mv

⇒                v                =  4 m/sec

∴ The speed of the body is 4 m/sec
