Given:
mass=20kg
K.E=40Joules.
velocity=V?
Formula:
K.E=1/2mV²
40=(1/2)*20V²
40=10V²
V²=4
V=2m/s
∴speed= 2m/s

Given,

Mass of a moving body (m) = 20 kg

Kinetic energy of a moving body (Ek) = 40 joules

Speed of a moving body (v) = ?

Calculation,

We know that, Ek = 1/2mv²

40 = 1/2 * 20 * v²

v² = (40 * 2) / 20

v² = 80 / 20

v² = 8 / 2

v² = 4 / 1

v = √4

v = 2 m/s

Speed = 2 m/s Ans.

Ans.) The speed of a moving body is 2 m/s.
