time = 10 sec

acceleration = 3.5m/sec

according to the first formula,

v = u + at

where, v = 0

u = ?

a = 3.5m/sec

t = 10 sec

v = u + at

0 = u + 3.5*10

0 = u + 35

-u = 35-0

-u = 35

u = -35m/sec.
