A moving car does not stop immediately when the brakes are applied, but it covers some distance before it stops why ?explain this answer with detail explanation only

u see,inertia is involved here

bcuz when the bus is stopped imediately ,when the brakes are appliedwe actually stop the first two tyres,the car have a large mass and it tends to ove,so it takes tie to stop the car
