a moving coil galvanometer has a coil of resistance 60ohm.it shows a full scale deflection for a current of 50ma.how will u convert it to a voltmeter having a range of 0 to 10v

voltmeter will be

So,

15=5×10

−3

(a+s) [onm's law]

⇒3000=50+s

⇒2950 Ω=s

So, a 2950Ω resistor should

be combined in series with

galvanometer to convert it in to voltmeter.
