hey mate,
here is ur answer.....,

Every floor have height = 5 m
And as we know there are three floors in the basement and every floor have height = 5 m

And person at 50 m above the ground and wants to reached at second floor of basement , So,
Total distance covered = 50 m  + 5 m  = 55 m

And we know,

speed =  \frac{distance}{time \: taken}

and,

Speed is given as 1 m / sec
So,

1 =  \frac{55}{time(sec.)}

so,

time= 55 second

so it will take 55 sec to reach at second floor in the basement

hope this help u buddy........:)

Answer:

55 sec

Step-by-step explanation:

Every floor have height =5 m

And the people at 50 m above the ground wants to reach at second floor of basement

So,

Total distance covered = 50 + 5 m = 55m

And we know that,

Speed =distance \ time taken

And, Speed is given as 1 m/sec

So, 1 = 55/time (sec)

So, time = 55 sec

So, it will take 55 sec to reach at second floor in the basement .

I think it will help you out !
