A multi – storied building has 10 floors above the ground level each of height 8m. A lift in the Building moves at the rate 4m/s .If a man starts from 2nd floor above the ground how long he will take to reach at 10th floor and return back to the ground.

Distance Between Ground floor and 2nd floor of basem ent is =5*2=10 m.

So,the total distance between 2nd floor of basement and 50 m above the ground =50+10=60 m.

So,time=distance/speed=60 m/1 m/s=60 s

so,the total time is 60 seconds
