Explanation:

Obviously, the HDD is the best for STORAGE!

Pen drives and DVDs are very good for transferring data, information exchange or distribution.

Floppy disks not only have low capacities, but the are completely obsolete, for more than ten years desktop computers don’t feature anymore units for floppies … By the way, “floppy” was the correct name for the older disks, 8″ or 5″ in diameter. The “modern” disks, 3.5″ in diameter, should be called “stiffies”, they came in a hard plastic case, they no longer bent!

And they had greater capacity (1.44MB) but they were UNRELIABLE, even compared to previous , larger floppy disks …

Pen drives (theose with USB3.0 interface can be quite fast) are good for TEMPORARY storage and information transfer, current capacities are usually around 32–138GB.

Since last year, 1 or 2TB USB Flash drive units are available, but they are very, very expensive!

And if you want to DISTRIBUTE information, DVDs are the best and most cost-efficient solution! (even if you data has just hundreds of MB, the CDs are obsolete, not recommended).
