a multiplying number machine change one fraction into another fraction by using a rule . it changed 1/2 into 1/10,1/7into 1/35, 2/3 into 2/5 . into what fraction will the machine change 5/3?

The machine or we can say the function is ....
f(x) = x/5...
so ....
f(1/2) = (1/2).(1/5)=1/1
f(1/7) = (1/7).(1/5)=1/35
f(2/3) = (2/3).(1/5)=2/15
and ......
f(5/3) = (5/3).(1/5)=1/3
This is a Function or multiplying machine ,
If we give x as input , the machine will give
x/5 as output.
