∴ If a man is 50 m above ground and he wants to go 2 floors below ground

Then he has to travel

⇒ 50 m + (2 × 5 m)

⇒ 60 m

So if it takes 1 second to cover 1 meter then

⇒ 60 m × 1 m/s

⇒ 60 sec

∴ it takes him 60 second or 1 minute to reach the basement
