Answer:

Cost Price of music system is Rs.1,00,000

Step-by-step explanation:

Given:

Profit =15 %

Let C.P of music system be Rs.x

S.P= {C.P × (100 + %profit)} / 100

    ={x × (100 +15)} / 100

   =115x /100

Profit =S.P - C.P

          =(115x /100) - x

          =(115x -100 x) /100

          =15x /100

If the S.P is 500 more ,

Then S.P = (115x /100 )+500 =(115x +50,000) /100

Profit is Rs.2000 more

New Profit amount =(15x/100 ) +2000 = (15x+2,00,000) /100

According to question,

(115x +50000) /100 = (15x+2,00,000) /100

115x+50,000=15x+2,00,000

115x - 15 x=2,00,000 - 50,000

15x =1,50,000

x=1,50,000 /15

x=1,00,000
