AnswEr :

  • Village Lost 25% Cattle due to shortage of fodder and water, and 5% because of Disease.
  • 5600 Cattle left in Village.

⋆ Let the Cattle in the Beginning be x.

According to the Question :

⇒ Total × Left in Village = 5600

⇒ x × [100 - (25 + 5)]% = 5600

⇒ x × (100 - 30)% = 5600

⇒ x × 70% = 5600

⇒ x × 70 /100 = 5600

⇒ x = (5600 × 100) /70

⇒ x = (80 × 100)

x = 8000

There were 8000 cattle in the beginning.
