A nail is being hammered into a wall.what kind of motion does it have?

it is a kinetic motion as the hammer is in motion but the nail is at rest

Every applied force causes some sort of motions which is the main reason for the application of this particular force.

There are many types of motion.Kinetic motion is one of them. Due to this Kinetic motion a stable and non moving object moves from it's original location.

And a nail hammered into the wall, is also an example of the kinetic motion.
