A nail is magnetised by being in contact with one end of a magnet. Can it still attract magnetic materials to it when it is no longer in contact with the magnet? Explain your answer.

Answer: Yes

Explanation:  as you have magnetised the nail, hence it will act like a magnet and will attract magnetic materials. when contact with the magnet is broken it ill not attract the magnetic materals further.
