A nail sinks in waterwhereas a ship does not. Why?

nail sinks in water because its made up of iron which is denser than water.
iron ship does not sink because it is hollow from inside.
air is filled in it. since, air is less denser than water, therefore
iron ships float.

Difference in densities is the main reason …
