(b) How will you find out which of the water soluble compound A or B is ionic?

a - ionic compound .. sodium chloride (NaCl )

- covalent compound.. hydrogen chloride (HCl)

b - a is ionic, since ... ionic compounds are strong electrolytes and dissociate completely giving a high concentration of ions in the aqueous soln.
