Answer: The chief ore of iron is hematite, and it is an oxide.

The oxide of iron is also a mineral and has the formula Fe2O3.

The extraction process of iron (Fe) is done in part by part, and they are more concentration, roasting or calculations, or reduction through the process and finally ore concentration.

Then the resulting material is fed in the blast furnace to make iron bars or other shapes.
