a.first season is spring which is from February to April
second season is Summer which is from April to June
third season is rainy season which is from June to July
forth season is autumn season which is from July to October
fifth season is winter season which is from October to February.
b.(i) Mumbai being closer to sea enjoys a pleasent weather and more or less has fewer variations in climate whereas Agra being farther away from Sea shows more annual range of temperature the differences brought mainly because of the specific heat capacity of land and water this dramatically affect the climatic conditions.
(ii) The region in India which receives rainfall both in summer and winter are Punjab, Haryana and Tamil Nadu.
C.(i) north East monsoon winds :
brings rain to Tamil nadu and it also blows from north east to south this rain is beneficial to rabi crops and has no distinct branches.
Retreating monsoon:
brings rain to most of India and it also blows from south east to north . Kharif crops depends on them and have two distinct branches.They are : Arabian sea Branch & Bay of Bengal Branch.
(ii) 1. Aravali range runs parallel to the south west monsoon winds of Arabian sea branch hence it obstruct these winds to cross aravalies an shed moisture on the other sides of Rajasthan that is the western Rajasthan.
2. Large amount of heat in Rajasthan increases the capacity of holding moisture in the south west monsoon winds of Arabian sea branch.
