a. E - covalent compound

b. D - valency is 1

c. B - valency is 2

d. D has bigger atomic radius becoz, the increase in the number of protons and electrons across a period. One proton has a greater effect than one electron so electrons are pulled towards the nucleus, resulting in a smaller radius. Also called poor shielding effect.

In D it has less neutrons E has more neutrons so E will try to pull maximum due to more energy in it than less neutron D. So the radius shrinks in E.
