a)In the human reproductive process, two kinds of sex cells, or gametes , are involved. The male gamete, or sperm, and the female gamete, the egg or ovum, meet in the female's reproductive system.

b)The animals which give birth to young ones are called viviparous animals. Those animals which lay eggs are called oviparous animals.

c)The process of combining the male gamete, or sperm, with the female gamete, or ovum. The product of fertilization is a cell called a zygote.

d)Acid rain is caused by a chemical reaction that begins when compounds like sulfur dioxide and nitrogen oxides are released into the air. These substances can rise very high into the atmosphere, where they mix and react with water, oxygen, and other chemicals to form more acidic pollutants, known as acid rain.
