a) the part which controls voluntary action is cerebellum
b) involuntary actions --- medulla
c) it helps in facilitating the communication between central nervous system and the other body parts. the components are spinal nerve, cranial nerve.
cranial nerve --- there are 12 pair of cranial nerve they emerge from brain
spinal nerve  --- there are 31 pair of spinal nerve they emerge from spine

  • Central Nervous System (CNS)
  • Peripheral Nervous System (PNS)

PNS consist of :-

  • Cranial Nervers which arises from the brain there are 12 pair of nerve.
  • Spinal Nerves which arises from spinal cord there are 31 pair of nerve.
