In this reaction chemical change occurred. Naphthalene balls undergo sublimation due to which it converts directly into vapours and disappear into air without leaving any solid.

naphthalene is a compound which can sublime(change to gas without any interfearence of liquid state) it got disappeared due to change of state to gas so, no new substances are formed so it is a physical change
