Step 1 : Define x

Let the common constant be x

Given, a natural number is divided in two parts in the ratio 7 : 11

So, let the 1st number be 11x and 2nd number be 7x

Given, the difference between the two parts is 20.

Step 2 : Find the value of x

According to the question,

11x - 7x = 20

➾ 4x = 20

➾ x = 5

Step 3 : Find the two numbers

1st number ➾ 11x

➾ 11 × 5

➾ 55

2nd number ➾ 7x

➾ 7 × 5

➾ 35

Step 4 : Find the natural number

55 + 35 = 90

The natural number is 90 and the two numbers are 55 and 35

Let the Common Multiple Be X
Therefore:-
11x-7x=20
4x=20
x=20/4
x=5

First No.=7x=7*5=35
Second No.=11x=11*5=55

Main Number=35+55=90
