we know length is 1000 and breadth or width is 500 so perimeter becomes 2(l+b) = 3000 and then we take ratios like l/b b/l l/p etc

so for perimeter we have formula that 2(l +b) = perimeter......i.e 2(1000+ 500)= 3000........so ratio of length to perimeter is 1000/ 3000 i. e 1:3.....and of breadth to perimeter is 500/3000...i.e 1: 6
