A nearsighted man can see objects clearly up to distance of 1.5 m . Calculate The power of the lens of spectacle for his defect ?

The lens should form a Virtual image of a distant object at 1.5 m from the lens . Thus , it should be a Divergent lens and it's Focal length should be -1.5m
Hence ,,
f = -1.5m
P = 1/f =>>>> -1/1.5 m
P = -0.67 D is the required power .
