\blue\star Answer :-

A negative rational number with odd power is always negative

Example :-

 =  >  { - 2}^{ 3}

 =  > ( - 2) \times ( - 2) \times ( - 2)

 =  > ( - 8)

Hence the negative rational number with odd power is always negative... Here - 2 is a negative number.
