A negligibly small current is passed through a wire of length 15 m and of uniform cross-section 6.0*10-7 m

and its resistance

is measured to be 5.0 Ώ.What is the resistivity of the material at the temperature of the experiment?

Hey.

Here is the answer.

As, R = p L/A

and , R = 5 ohm ; L= 15m ; A = 6×10^-7m^2

So, resistivity, p = RA/L = 5×6×10^-7/15

or, resistivity , p = 2×10^-7 Ώm

Thanks.
