A nerve cell releases 36 atps whereas a kidney cell releases 38 atps by complete oxidation of one gram mole of glucose. explain why it is so?

the nerve cell is specialised cell for transportation is information. it's mitochondria produces 38 Adinosine tri phosphate a "unit for energy in cell". but two atps are used up due to need of energy for changing the chemical information at dendritic tip into electric impulse so it releases 36 atps but kidney cells do not consume any atp produced by them
