a. what is the acceleration of the cart
b. how long will it take the cart to travel 2.8 M starting from rest

a) Force,F = 15 N
Mass,M = 2.1 kg
Acceleration,a = ?

force \: = \: mass \: \times \: acceleration

So,

acceleration \: = \: \frac{force}{mass}

a = 15/2.1
a = 7.142857 m/s^2

So,
The Acceleration , a is 7.142857 m/s^2

b) Distance,S = 2.8 m
Acceleration,a = 7.14 m/s^2
Initial Velocity,u = 0
Time,t = ?

s \: = ut \: + \frac{a {t}^{2} } {2}

So,

2.8 = 0 + 7.14*t^2/2
t = 0.885615 s

So,
The Cart took 0.885615 seconds to cover a Distance of 2.8 metres.
