Explanation:

Capacitors C₁ = C, C₂ = 2C, C₃ = 3C and C₄ = 4C ( Given)

Since C1 C2 and C3 are in series -

1/C' = 1/C+1/2C+1/3C

1/C' = 6+3+2/6

1/C'= 6C/11

All the capacitors in branch 1 is in series therefore,

charge on each capacitor Q = 6/11CV

Also charge on capacitor C4 is Q = 4CV

Therefore the ratio = Q'/Q

                                = 6CV/11×4CV = 3/22

Thus, the ratio of the charges on C₂ and C₄ is 3/22
