The fifty rupee note displays Hampi's Stone chariot. This stone chariot of Karnataka gets a place on this new 50 rupees notes. The base colour of this new note is fluorescent blue. It was released by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI).

It was introduced in India in August 2017.
