My response to the new come i.e student would be very nice and compassionate. I would make him or her feel at ease. I would go to him to ask him about his name and age.

• I would ask him to come sit with me during the classes.
• While in recces I would take him on a tour of the whole school.
• We all should be nice to new students rather than being rude to them.
