A no. when added to it's half gives 39 what is the no.

Let us take the number as x.

When it is added to it's half gives 39.

i.e.

x+x/2 = 39

2x+x/2 = 39

3x/2 = 39

3x = 39×2

3x = 78

x = 78/3

x = 26

Therefore the number is 26.

Proof: x+x/2 = 39

=) 26+13 = 39
