we know that P = F/A THAN put the values ...
P= 200/0.02 =10000 N/m square

Question-

A normal force of 200N acts on a area of 0.02m². Find pressure in Pascal.

Given-

  • Force applied = 200N

  • Area = 0.02m²

To find-

  • Pressure = ?

Calculation-

We know that,

  •  {\underline {\boxed {\rm {\red { P = \frac { F }{A} }}}}}

Where,

  •  \sf\red { P = Pressure }

  •  \sf\red { F = Force }

  •  \sf\red { A = Area }

Substituting values-

 \sf { ☞ P = \frac{200N}{0.02m²} }

 \sf { ☞ P = \frac{200 \times 100}{2} }

 \sf { ☞ P = \frac{ {\cancel { 200}}^{100} \times 100}{\cancel2} }

 \sf { ☞ P = 100 \times 100}

 \sf\green { ☞ P = 10000 Pa}

Total pressure is 10000 Pascal.
