We will take out the coefficient of compression and as we know Cc is constant quantity for a given soil.

(Cc *H)/(1+e0) = 0.01/log(200/100) now putting this value in the formula for delta H we get the same settlement.

Hence settlement will be 10 mm only for the second case also.
