Solution :-

Let us assume that, Rahim bought the car at Rs.100x .

so,

→ CP for rahim = Rs.100x

→ Profit = 5%

→ SP for rahim = CP for Sarvesh = (100x * 105)/100 = Rs.105x .

now,

→ CP for Sarvesh = Rs.105x

→ Spent on reparing = Rs.6500.

so,

→ Total CP = Rs.(105x + 6500)

→ Profit = 10%

→ SP for Sarvesh = CP for Mohan = (110/100)(105x+6500) = Rs.{1.1(105x + 6500)}

now,

→ CP for Mohan = Rs.{1.1(105x + 6500)}

→ Loss = 6% .

→ SP for Mohan = CP for Rita = (94/100){1.1(105x + 6500)} = (0.94 * 1.1)(105x + 6500) = Rs.{1.034(105x + 6500)}

now,

→ CP for rita = Rs. {1.034(105x + 6500)}

→ Spent on reparing = Rs.1280

→ Total CP for rita = {1.034(105x + 6500)} + 1280

→ SP for rita = Rs.84000

A/q,

→ Total CP for rita = SP for rita

→ {1.034(105x + 6500)} + 1280 = 84000

→ {1.034(105x + 6500)} = 84000 - 1280

→ {1.034(105x + 6500)} = 82720

→ 105x + 6500 = 80000

→ 105x = 80000 - 6500

→ 105x = 73500

→ x = 700

therefore,

→ Rahim bought the car = 100x = 100 * 700 = Rs.70000 (Ans.)
