2) the number 24 is the mass number of the nucleus and 11 is the atomic number.

3) 24/11 Na and 24/12 Mg are isobars i.e., 24/12Mg is an isobar of 24/12Na. As they are same mass number (protons + neutrons ) but different atomic number (protons)
