ANSWER:-

Let:-

No. be \bf{x}

One-fourth of the x is \bf{\frac{1}{4}}x

SOLUTION:-

ATQ:-

\longrightarrow{x + {\frac{1}{4}}x = 15}

• Taking LCM:-

\longrightarrow{\frac{4x+x}{4}}=15

\longrightarrow{\frac{5x}{4}}=15

\longrightarrow{5x = 15 \times 4}

\longrightarrow{5x = 60}

\longrightarrow{x = {\frac{60}{5}}}

\longrightarrow{x = {\cancel{\frac{60}{5}}}}

\longrightarrow{\bf{x = 12}}
