answer:

The number is 32.

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the unit's digit be x

Then, ten's digit will be 5-x

Original no = (5-x) × 10 + x

= 50 - 10x + x

= 50 - 9x

Reversed number = x × 10 + (5-x)

= 10x + 5 - x

= 9x + 5

By condition,

50 - 9x - 9 = 9x + 5

=> 41 - 9x = 9x + 5

=> 9x + 5 = 41 - 9x

=> 9x + 9x = 41 - 5

=> 18x = 36 => x = 36/18 = 2

Hence, Number = 50 - 9x

= 50 - 9×2

= 50 - 18

= 32 (ans).

Let the number be 10x+y ,where X = Ten's place and y = one's place

 A/Q

x + y = 5 ----------> (1)

After reversing the number is :

10y + x

10x + y + 9 = 10y + x

9x - 9y = -9

x - y = -1    -------> [2]

Adding equations 1 and 2

x + y = 5------> (3)

x - y = -1---------->(4)

2x = 4

x = 2

x -y = -1

2 - y = -1

2 + 1 = y

3 = y

The number Formed :-

10x + y

10 x 2 + 3  = 23

The number is 23.
