Let the number and reversed number be 10x+y & 10y+x.

x+y=8 ------------1

10x+y+18 = 10y+x.

10x-x+y-10y = -18

9x-9y = -18 ( ÷ by 9)

x-y = -2 ------------2

Solving 1 & 2, we get x = 3,

sub x value in 1,

3+y=8

y=8- 3 = 5

The number, 10x+y is 10(3)+5 = 35
