a number consists of two digits. of which the tens digit exceeds the units digit by 6 the number itself is equal ti ten times the sum of its digits find the number.

let in a digit the unit place be x and the digit in tens place be y

then number=10y+x

ATQ

10y-x=6. --------(I)

10y+x=10(x+y)

10y+x=10x+10y

x-10x=0
x=0
therefore,y=0+6
y=6

therefore the number is 10×6+0=60
