Let the required number be x.

And the ones place digit be y.

Number = 10x + y

Reversed Number = 10y + x

According to the Question,

x + y = 5 .... (i)

(10x + y) + 9 = (10y + x)

⇒ 10x + y + 9 = 10y + x = 0

⇒ 9x - 9y= - 9

x - y= - 1.... (ii)

Solving Eq (i) &(ii), we get

⇒ x + y = 5

⇒x - y = - 1

⇒ 2x = 4

⇒ x = 4/2

x = 2

Putting x's value in Eq (i), we get

⇒ x + y = 5

⇒ 2 + y = 5

y = 3

Number = 10x + y = 10(2) + 3 = 23

Hence the required number is 23.
