let the number be 'x' and 'y'

a/c to question

x + y= 12. 1@

10x+y+18 = 10y+x. 2@

now in 2@

10y+x -10x-y= 18

-9(y+x)=18

x-y=18/-9= -2

x=-2+y

putting the value in eq 1

-2+y+y=12

2y=14

y=7

now put the value of y in eq 1

x+7=12

x=5
