Dear Student,

Answer:

Therefore two digits number is 66

★ Step-by-step explanation:

Q.] A number consists of two digits whose sum is 12 if 32 is substracted from the number its digits are reversed.

➠ Let the digits at the Ten's Place be x ⇒The digits at the Unit's Place be

(  12-x )

➠ So the Two digit number ⇒ 10 (12 −x)+x

                                                ⇒  120− 12 x+x

                                                ⇒  120− 12 x

➠ Now if digits are reversed  , then Number obtained

                                               ⇒ 10x+ (12−x)

                                               ⇒  10x+ 12−x

                                               ⇒   9x+12

According to question,

⇒ 9x + 12 -32 = 120 -12x

⇒ 9x - 20  = 120 - 12x

⇒ 21x = 140

⇒ x = 6

Therefore two digits number

⇒  9x+12

⇒  9 × 6 + 12

⇒  54 + 12

⇒  66.

➠ Two digits number is 66.
