EXPLANATION

  • GIVEN

Two digit number whose sum is = 9

If 27 is subtract from the original number

it's digit interchange.

FIND THE ORIGINAL NUMBER.

Let we can assume that two digit are

x and y

original number = 10x + y

interchanging number = 10y + x

x + y = 9 .....(1)

10x + y - 27 = 10y + x

9x - 9y = 27

x - y = 3 ....(2)

From equation (1) and (2)

we get,

2x = 12

x = 6

put x = 6 in equation (1)

6 + y = 9

y = 3

therefore,

original number = 10x + y

10(6) + 3

60 + 3

63

HENCE,

ORIGINAL NUMBER IS = 63
