This is a simple question to solve.
just let that the number is X  then in that case 410 will be equal to the 100- 18 % of the X. that will be equals to the 82 %
 This also means that 410 equals to this value like
 410 = X * ( 82/100)
So by calcualtion
410 = X* 0.82
And thus this will be X = 410/0.82 = 500
So here 500 is our answer.

Solution :-

Let the required number be x.

It decreased by 18 % and becomes 410.

Then according to the question.

⇒ x/1 - (x*18)/100 = 410

Taking L.C.M. of the denominator and then solving it.

⇒ x/1 - 9x/50 = 410

⇒ (50x - 9x)/50 = 410

⇒ 41x/50 = 410

⇒ 41x = 50*410

⇒ 41x = 20500

⇒ x = 20500/41

⇒ x = 500

So, the required number is 500.
