Total outcomes = 10
Favourable outcomes = 8
P (getting a number greater than 2) = 8/10 = 4/5

Answer -

Total no of Outcomes - 10

No. of favourable outcomes - 8

as, it's given greater than 2, 1,2 won't come

therefore the possible outcomes are =>

3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10 => Total 8

Probability = \frac{No.of favourable outcomes}{Total number of outcomes}

Therefore,

8/10

= 4/5

Probability of getting the number more than 2

=> 4/5

Hope it helps
