Let Number be 10x+y where x = tens digit
and y = unit place digit
Now given,
units digit of the number is 3 times the
ten's digit
Therefore y = 3x
Lets now reverse the number the number
thus formed will be 10y+x
Now,
the new number thus formed, is 36 more
than the original number
ATQ,
10y+x - (10x+y) = 36
9y-9x = 36
y-x = 4
now putting y = 3x
3x-X = 4
2x = 4
x = 2
y = 6
Therefore the original number is 2x10+6
= 26
Hope this helps.....
